The product is built to make you a better speaker — pacing, word choice, active listening, delivery — and interview practice is the context in which you apply that coaching. If you need someone to tell you what to say in an interview, Skillora or Final Round AI are better fits. If you need to work on how you say it, Yoodli is the strongest option we tested.

Significantly more powerful. Yoodli's Builder accepts a free-text prompt of up to 5,000 characters, interprets multi-step instructions, generates a full AI persona and context prompt, and allows post-generation adjustments. Huru's generator produces 5 tailored questions from a job description but doesn't generate a full conversational persona or scoring rubric.

It measures completion of the rubric goals you (or the Builder) set for the session. Our 45% reflected that we didn't "book a follow-up," didn't "identify pain points," and didn't hit all the configured scoring criteria — not that our answers were weak. Always check which rubric goals are active before interpreting your score.

Based on our session, the STAR scores (Situation 3/5, Task 5/5, Action 5/5, Result 3/5) appeared tied to what we actually said — the "Result" gap was referenced in the Growth Area card as needing more business impact context, which matched our actual answer. This is personalized scoring, not illustrative like Final Round AI's debrief.
